Ketchikan, Alaska

Interpretive Master Plan

The city of Ketchikan, Alaska is surrounded by land and water which are teeming with wildlife and rich with stories of over 10,000 years of human history. The City decided to design and build a coastal aquarium in order to tell the aquatic stories of the area to residents and visitors. Our role in the project was to help select an appropriate site for the building and trails and to develop an interpretive master plan which wove important stories of people, plants and animals into and around the future building.
