Rehabilitating injured, indigenous animals is at the core of this hospital/museum/zoo located just an hour west of Chicago. We were hired to partner with an architectural team and recommend ways to improve the way the facility delivered its two primary functions: rehabilitation and education. We created an interpretive master plan which included extensive exhibits and habitats within the building and on a system of trails throughout their site, and supplied them with drawings and a narrative to help raise funds for their extensive transformation.
